Job Summary:
The Banquet Server at Holiday Inn Fargo is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during their events and functions. This is a part-time role with a base hourly rate and the potential to earn extensive gratuities based on events booked. The Banquet Server will work closely with the banquet team to ensure all guests have a memorable experience and all events run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet tables according to event orders and guest requests.
- Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled.
- - Clear tables and assist with the breakdown and clean-up of events.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure all events are executed flawlessly and exceed guest expectations.
- Follow all Holiday Inn uniform standards and brand guidelines
Requirements:
-- Prior experience in a banquet service or food service is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette.
- ServSafe certification is a plus.
